(PRWEB) November 4, 2005 -- It is an honor for Debt Reduction Services (DRS), a recognized leader in financial literacy education and debt counseling, to announce that it has recruited an impressive group of individuals to serve as members of its Volunteer Advisory Board. The Board will assist in the supervision of a new Financial Management Education program that will provide information on the basics of financial management, such as appropriate ways to earn, budget, save, and spend money, to primary school students within 10 counties in southwest Idaho.

children, have the skills necessary to face the financial world ahead of them,” said Michael Henderson, DRS’ AmeriCorps VISTA member for the 2005-2006 appointment cycle. Todd Christensen, DRS’ Director of Education, reinforced Henderson’s statements by saying, “DRS is dedicated to the communities we serve. By further expanding our current participation in area classrooms, we are making sure the
children we value will be prepared to make responsible financial decisions in their teenage and adult lives.”
